I don’t know why this sticker on a sign cracked me up. It was obviously an aftermarket addition!
My neighbours have a couple of those wee statues used to encourage drivers to slow down. Folks around here have a great deal of fun posing them. I’m sure you can see why I call this photo ‘slow dance’!
This is the end of a 7K I ran for St. Patrick’s day. Green beer and chocolate coins. Worth running for! I liked the way the foam made each of the beers look like a flower-or a snowflake (and each of them is different!)
I found this cool frog statue in one of the yards just down the street from my house. I love the way e has been set on this interesting tree stump. The bonus is-this is a self portrait! Twice. Look in his beady wee eyes and you will see my reflection.
The tree in this photo is such a strong element it tends to hog the limelight. But our natural tendency to look beyond allows us to pick out the graves in the snow soon after looking at this photo. I love contrasts, so here you have it-life and death!
What is this? Amoebas floating in a soupy sea? Bacteria expanding in a petri dish? Celestial beings? Nope. It’s a bunch of hair ties that were dropped onto a sidewalk-I tweaked the colours a lot to get this effect!
